Beware of artists
Mos Def is one of the most talented artist in the world. I do not know Mos Def but I wish I did, from simply listening to his music to watching the most random Youtube videos of him, I get a strong feeling for the mans character: "Cool as hell.". There is one video I recently watched that sticks out the most though; Mos Def was discussing how he gets paid at most of the shows he performs at(very humoriously might I add), and near the end he quotes Queen victoria. He says "Beware of artists - they mix with all classes of society and are therefore most dangerous..." -Queen Victoria. This quote and the explanation Mos Def gives immediately after stating it, not only attest to his wealth of knowledge and cleverness, but the quote in it self touches me on like a deep ass "DAMN" level. I cannot do it any justice through writing, so just watch the video.

Decisions
Church & State it is....Madvillain Theme jus helped me decide exactly what I wanted to do, all I could picture was burning croses and angry preachers pointing.
I need inspiration...
I honestly want to change my topic choice for my video, something a bit more calming. But my beliefs are both very critical of our nation, how can I possibly make a video essay about separation of church and state, or the downfall of America due to greed? It's possible but how?
DAMN!
I just wasted ten minutes creating a video that in no way related to my project, an effort not totally wasted though, I now have my creative juices flowing. I think I will focus on three artist in my video, MF DOOM (of course), Flying Lotus, and Mos Def.

This is my way of formulating ideas
Mr. Diamond(IMAGES teacher) wants me to force ideas out of my brain so I will type this, just for him. But this causes me to think can I included PUMAS? maybe somehow I can have a cut scene of a guy walking in PUMAS?

It's not me
I must transform into a video editor within a month. :-/ I am the most anal person ever when it comes to Audio, I have tried music production and failed epically on account of my impatience and unquenchable thirst for perfection (at least something close to perfection). For me to combine this "analness" with actual video should be interesting, I think I'm gonna need more than a month with this one.
