So I spontaneously joined Student Government Wednsday and we were discussing different topics you kno the usual dance, money, graduation etc. and the next big "thing" was Valentine's day, yet another artificial holiday in which the media markets to make a nice bit of change off the young, old and insecure. There is no need to say that LMSA takes its slice of this pie, utilizing our key market teenagers with completely despensable incomes. So the idea was to sell these little monkeys with roses and all this blah blah blah.., so of course I volunteered for the job of advertisement. Mr. D and Mr. P said "ok make a flier" alright I replied and this is what one hour of work with absolutely no direction gives you...

OH MY JESUS!!

When I heard, well read with my own eyes that MF DOOM!!!! & Freaking Mos DEF where coming to Chicago!!!! I was reminiscent of a 13 year old girl receiving a pony for her birthday, but today its more like a 16 year old girl with a Pink Z4 sDrive35i parked in the drive way at her super sweet 16 broad casted on a nationally televised channel, for the lack of better words "I pissed myself". Needless to say I researched to verify the credibility of the ad. I surfed the web grilled local boutique owners, even asked some of my more musically cultured peers. I mean this was a dream come true I was definitely in a very vulnerable state at this point and any form of disappointment or misleading information could have caused a great shift in my emotional stability. :-/...Honestly people would have been harmed lol...but after all things were verified, there were only two things left to do, order my tickets, and cleared my schedule. :-) YES!!!

I preferred the original more flat storybook concept but my teacher wanted me to add a bit more "depth". So yea I feel it slightly takes away from the visual I was aiming for but who cares it's done now. The project came out semi-dope, if I had felt the results would have been unsavory then I would have just scrapped the project all together and completed another "narrative". Luckily it came out OK....

Give a little CAYSH man!(and Women lol)...to Haiti I'm definitely not about to give a reason why but you definitely should.
