Cereal Fein

I asked my friend to snatch me some Reese Puffs Cereal because they are so DELICIOUS...hopefully she comes through for a player. Even though I enjoy the delicious swirls of a Cinnamon Toast Crunch the most, Reese Puff always seem to pleasure my taste buds Haha. Now on a day like this with the sun shining and all after the little storm, I should be outside not blogging about cereal, but I hate the after effects of rain its very muggy and damp which screams "get yo ass in shower" on account of the humidity in the air, idk why I guess I'm just weird like that. In fact I cant function without a shower, before I sleep or leave out to do ANYTHING, I MUST shower. I just don't like mixing my days, in the since that once one segment of my life is complete I must wash it off before I can start anew. There's nothing deep about it, no hidden meaning or lesson I'm trying to teach, I just hate grim but do with it as you will haha. But I digress back to the cereal, it would be nice to have a box to accompany my ice cold milk, speaking of milk is it me or do you too have to have your milk Ice FREAKING cold in order to eat a bowl of cereal. Maybe it's another one of my weird pet-peeves but my milk must be to the point were it has small ice chips in it, before i pour it over my cereal. In my eyes there is nothing worse breakfast wise then a bowl of soggy cereal and warm milk so to prevent this I usually stick the milk in freezer for about 20 minutes. But again maybe its just me haha. Enough of my rambling, I'm gone. I think I will let my friend read this post haha in the hopes that it seriously persuades her to get me a box of cereal (crosses fingers).

The Beast

DAMN the cpu is down its seems that the Mcafee and Norton subscriptions have expired and so my irresponsible web surfing has come to a halt, momentarily. It seems like the Internet is a very dangerous place. This is the first time since we bought the CPU two years ago that it has been corrupted totally and I have explored almost every region of the Internet both legal and illegal lol and this is the first time the beast has ever been brought down. The $50, I plan on investing into its renewal is well worth it, in order to maintain its current memory content; because the amount of music, movies, and pictures I have amassed over the last year alone is easily worth the investment. So lets hope and pray that it is not to late for us to save the beast because if so this will be the second time I have lost a mass music collection and I will go into a deep depression if it happens again. More so this time I have alot more at stake when taking into account the pictures and movies I have yet to back-up, plus the programs installed that I may not be able to back-up. Lets just say I am FUCKED if I cant restore the Beast and bring it back to full health. But for short term goals I plan on backing every bit of media I possibly can on a portable drive hopefully I am able to access it on Monday. Oh yea I typed this on my phone haha sorry for spelling. Peace.

The Fantastic Mr. Fox

PLEASE purchase this film, I don't make many recommendations on different forms of entertainment like movies and music, but this was an outstanding film, more like a piece of art. The film was witty, silly and very amusing all at once, with an all-star cast I feel that each character held their own no matter how large or small the role. The film was very well executed overall, the scintillating plot, the visual choice of using actual figures for the characters, to the clever dialog. I could continue to list what I loved about this film but this post is already boring enough haha; go find it download it, On-Demand, DVD store haha I don't care lol just watch it.

Its VERY ironic that our country is named the United States but as a whole we're the most segregated culture in the world. If the cause is'nt Race it's Religion, if not Religion it's political views; to some, politics counts as a religion. I mean, I am not the koombaya type but can we come together in times other than a crisis. Historically the downfall of civilization stems from separation of powers and greed, and the US has almost run its course. The fall of the our countries reign of power is on its way and at the pace we are on it's coming sooner than later. All great Empires fall, honestly America isnt half what Rome was to the world; a much more well structred political system and overall more badass army haha, still the greatest Empire ever in my opinion USA is half of what Rome once was.

My First Series :-) Good start?

So, I have been thirsting to get into Photography for the longest, and in my opinion I'm going about it in the right way I started from the most basic form of photography a Pin-hole camera made from a can to my new babies one "Canon AE-1" (35mm) and another "Canon EOS-1N" (75mm lens). I'm gradually moving up in what I consider the "Photographical Pyramid". For some reason I don't want to move any higher in the pyramid technology wise because I really enjoy black and white film, it provides a certain contrast and feel I don't believe you can achieve through digital photography. But as a photographer I hope I blossom into something great even though I don't even consider making this a profession but even if my photographic skills sees to grow and develop (pun intended), it won't stop a playa from snapping photos I will continue to have fun shooting ugly or not haha. More shots coming soon :-)

Can I live?

I was considering devoting a Post analyzing and commenting on the long struggle it took in order to get this new Healthcare bill passed but I don't feel like lol :-). This is because honestly, I am tired of the subject and I could type a dissertation on the subject at this point from all the arguments and debates, stating facts and opinions concerning the subject. So I have decided to continue to let everyone learn more about this topic from that same source I have, the media(even though by definition I am apart of the media, but that's neither here nor there). You will receive enough from FOX News and (my favorite show on the other side of the spectrum) Bill Maher (HBO) I'm sure. The only thing I will say is that I LOVE the idea of people not having to pay multi-billion dollar insurance agencies, thousands of dollars just to stay alive :-) Health for Everybody lol.

Something wonderful I felt I had to relay in a different way than simply posting a video, but I will be posting the video also lol. I love this shit to be honest I don't know what serves it more justice, reading or listening. On one hand the video provides a baseline and progressive tempo and dramatic affect that can't be drawn any other way, but on another hand the reading gives a visual aspect that I find unique and helps me understand the message at my own pace instead of forcing me to keep up with the tempo the rhymes are delivered. The only thing I can bring myself to an agreement on is that it's DOPE!!

On the many social networking sites I am currently logged on, it seems that this show "Bad Girls Club" has been the topic of choice for men and women alike. So I decided, Hey! why don't I check this show out, so I found out what channel it was on and tuned in, needles to say I was not entertained the least bit. I gave "Bad Girls Club" about 5 minutes to entertain me but I started to feel a sudden case a retardation falling upon me so I turned the channel before my drool hit my shirt. Now don't get me wrong I love senseless violence and half naked mid 20's women with swimsuit bodies showing them off every chance they get, but something about this show is how should I say, distasteful? Maybe I have reached my Reality TV limit FOREVER with it being one on every channel and all. But I am not a fan on TV to begin with honestly, if not for HBO, Sports and a select few shows (Sons of Anarchy, Breaking Bad and Rescue Me) I would have very little need for a TV. I mean I watch "The Office" and "Lost" on the computer lol, but I digress; Bad Girls Club is a piece of shyt show in my opinion and they have turned my pleasures of violence and half naked women into something "dirty", how dare they? I just hate to see beautiful women act so ugly, especially towards each other, both physically and verbally, it's a turn-off in my eyes. Sorry "Bad Girls Club" gets the boot.

Chatroulette isn't so bad (nah it's still creepy though)

SO! Theres this thing, this new thing, this creative, creepy, startling sometimes rewarding thing called Chatroulette. Chatroulette is basically a anonymous chat website that randomly connects you to another person from anywhere in the world, and 9.9 times out of 10 you encounter some weird White male pleasuring himself in the confines of his home :-/ but the other .1 is usually a pleasant and sometimes en lighting conversation between people of different walks of life weather it be social status, economic, or geographic. I myself have been on the site a few times and have had the pleasure of chating with 8 enthusiastic individuals from all around the world and I must say for every CREEP well every 9 CREEP's there is a good person at the other end of the line. And here is an example of one of them.

Facebook, munchies and Fat people....

It is a shame that the only thing teens in my demographic can turn to as a form of entertainment on any given night is centered around, eating, having sex, consuming illegal substances and technological devices (CPU, Gaming System, Cell phone, etc.). In my eyes this should eliminate any wonders of why we teens act the way we act and why America is the most over weight country in the world. We have nothing to do, besides the $11 movie and wide range of restaurants one may dine, the life of a citizen under the age of 21 is relatively bland. It seems that our lives are centered around Facebook, MacDonald's, and the AMC, what are my other options. Other than the occasional concert or "Juke Jam" I have nothing to do in my leisure, besides Facebook, movies or food, I could smoke some weed or drink some Hennessey Black but that's wrong I shouldn't be doing that, but why not, the people I am suppose to look up to aren't providing me with any constructive/affordable activities to take part in. It's very disappointing to be honest; the system seems to be structured in a way that puts American youth at a disposition; we are trained to sit on our asses and spend money on menial forms of entertainment. My friend Sydney and I have sat for approximately 3 hours trying to figure out something to do on a Sunday night and with the help of Google and our collective intellects we came up with NOTHING, granted it was a Sunday night but none the less, every listing we came upon had something to do with a bar our lounge where drinks are served. It seems that liquor is the culprit behind a teenage scarcity of entertainment because with liquor comes profit. We as teenagers cannot generate that profit, at least legally, and in-order for there to be some sort of venue for teens to enjoy it must be profitable, because everyone knows nothing gets done unless there is incentive. But what could there possibly be that is both affordable and profitable and serve as entertain to people under the age of 21. Honestly I don't know but I will definitely be taking it into consideration.

The only problem that i never look to fix not a dull moment not even if i wish, it seems that i am not the one who who meets her criteria constantly bickering and petty spouts of anger we are not strangers to the silent treatment and latenight conversations never with a dry eye or pale face always an emotion doned expressed or verbalized in some way...usually without even trying the silence tells it all no need for words or tears jus that look oh man oh man what now what harm have i inflicted even when its not me its me even when its not concerning us its we, who reep the benefits of the issues that plague our "relationship" but is it that, seems like more of an agreement, between to willing young adults, love being the force trying to pushing our hands to sign the iron clad paper, and at times we wear that contract on our wrist iron clad garments that seem to be connected so why do we continue to wear these garmets that seem so heavy and continue to carry that burdon that weighs our hearts down idk but i dont mind and probrably will never know until our hearts align and that contract is signed

This is because here you can find an artist by the name of El-P, and by artist I mean the epitome of artistry, from his musical to visual presentation. Now for a person to be able to compile these talents into one singular package is amazing on its own but when you also take into account the message he sends with every song, (shit ever bar) it makes his artistry even more appealing in my eyes, all I can say is pay attention and take the time to listen to his work. This is why I have the greatest respects for El-P, he forces me to think and needless to say, I am a big fan of his music and hope for more videos like this.

Can it be True?

The Chicago Bears have a long local history of being how I should say, DUMB AS HELL when it comes to management decisions overall. But this year the Bears are not true to form, and to say the least I am surprised. The organization is notoriously penny pinching and shifty when it comes to signing players to large contracts(even when they are more than deserving), so to think this organization would actually attempt to sign one big name free agent better yet THREE is astounding to me, I am speechless :-l. But the even more astounding news is that they have not only attempted to sign these players or what numerous sports analyst like to say "having talks with..." these players but the Bears have actually sparked an agreement to officially sign and seal Julius Peppers, Chester Taylor and Brandon Manumaleuna on the FIRST DAY of free agency :-) WOW. I can't wait for the season to begin :-).

So yea, while on my Blogger Hiatus I have been involved in and should I say speculated and planned for many new endeavors, and during this time I acquired a job. No not flipping burgers or dipping fries but something I have steadily developing a love for, photography. If you scroll down a few articles you will see what I'm talking about but if your trip ends here then I'll let you in on it, it's Gallery 37. Now it's not a true JOB but I get paid and I provide a service so in my eyes and the eye's of Mr. Webster it's a job, lol, and for those who think it's not you may be right. Because for many employed people going to work is a burden, something they wish they didn't have to do every day, the only reason they are hanging on is because of that check. Well not me; if you definition of having a job is doing something you dislike for 8 hours a day so you can get paid every 2 weeks then, Yes I am definitely un-employed at the moment. But, I digress my real reason for occupying your time is to let you know that I get paid tomorrow(My first official paycheck :-)), and I have some items I must acquire lol. I probably won't even make it home with the money, honestly lol it is truly a shame how much money has left my hand the past let's say 5 years? Yea 5 lol when I bought my first video game haha... Expect a few photos of shoes and music I purchase this weekend and next. But that is all lol I thank you for your time.

Yet another Hiatus...

Yea yet another hiatus, a number of events have taken place in this period I've been away from my Blog but I'm feeling a tad bit emotional at the moment lol, so writing is definitely the most constructive avenue to travel at the moment. With all the different emotions and thoughts traveling through my mind, some positive some of course being negative I've recently figured out what I want to do with my life at least I believe I have and I also have figured out the people I want to travel along with, on this hopefully, relatively "un-rocky road". Needles to say that list is small, but taking in to considerations the drastic highs and Lows of today's youth if I must generalize, I say I have been pretty steady in both morals and overall being me and being "real"? but anyway I hope this steadiness allows me to be prosperous from here on out, I see great things in my future but in order for me to achieve such social and economical statuses that I strive for I must grow both in maturity and work ethic, because I am lazy and I acknowledge this with the greatest respects, but as I age I notice a change in work ethic as far as my academics are concerned. But in all reality I feel that my character and beautiful smile will get me threw my hard times. ;-) hahahah... "I joke I joke I kid I kid"...

I pull she pulls back i push she push back the constant struggle seems to constantly lap our hearts in this race, its maturity we lack, DAMN I thought i was grown I thought i was a man someone to lean on someone who had love figured out and the world in the palm of his hand, but i guess not it seems I'm missing something because with all the joy and happiness comes pain and sorrow with a dagger in its cold palm but no not long deep wound it inflicts but quick precise insertions into my main arteries then no longer i can breath because it seems the more we grow the less we blossom i try and try to patch those wounds but the simple fact is that they seem fatal, but i will continue to stitch and add pressure until that green line straightens up and dances no more because even though we have times of pain and sorrow and many tears, our happiness has prevailed the last 3 years because of our stubborn minds and strong character even when our hearts reach the darkness of night there is always a morning and she is my light.... You think she would like this shyt? It could be better but what ever...

So I spontaneously joined Student Government Wednsday and we were discussing different topics you kno the usual dance, money, graduation etc. and the next big "thing" was Valentine's day, yet another artificial holiday in which the media markets to make a nice bit of change off the young, old and insecure. There is no need to say that LMSA takes its slice of this pie, utilizing our key market teenagers with completely despensable incomes. So the idea was to sell these little monkeys with roses and all this blah blah blah.., so of course I volunteered for the job of advertisement. OH MY JESUS!!

When I heard, well read with my own eyes that MF DOOM!!!! & Freaking Mos DEF where coming to Chicago!!!! I was reminiscent of a 13 year old girl receiving a pony for her birthday, but today its more like a 16 year old girl with a Pink Z4 sDrive35i parked in the drive way at her super sweet 16 broad casted on a nationally televised channel, for the lack of better words "I pissed myself". Needless to say I researched to verify the credibility of the ad. I surfed the web grilled local boutique owners, even asked some of my more musically cultured peers. I mean this was a dream come true I was definitely in a very vulnerable state at this point and any form of disappointment or misleading information could have caused a great shift in my emotional stability. :-/...Honestly people would have been harmed lol...but after all things were verified, there were only two things left to do, order my tickets, and cleared my schedule. :-) YES!!!

I preferred the original more flat storybook concept but my teacher wanted me to add a bit more "depth". So yea I feel it slightly takes away from the visual I was aiming for but who cares it's done now. The project came out semi-dope, if I had felt the results would have been unsavory then I would have just scrapped the project all together and completed another "narrative". Luckily it came out OK....

So! I have just been hypnotized by this new "segment" shall I call it, of mini-sodes created by "Creative-control". They are simply WOW I don't have much to say but WOW lol. Surprisingly this company which has emerged from nowhere is owned by the ex co-owner of Rocafella records, Mr. Dame Dash. Real talk the only reason I know who Dame Dash is, is because I remeber a guy holding up the Roc in the back of all the Jay-Z videos. In retrospect it seems that I have not been giving Mr. Dash enoughh respect and I suspect many others haven't either, maybe its more to this man than gaudy jewelry and loud mouth. I mean there must be if he was able to co-own a multi million dollar record label with a rapper :-/. Maybe Dash ran the show and Jay-Z was just a figure head!?!? Hmmmmmm....lets wonder together...

I have recently started listening to THEOPHILUS LONDON and "the nigga is dope" lol. I have noticed that LONDON and Kid Cudi have alot of parallels in their style, because of their different approach to music but so far I'm feel LONDON alot more idk jus my opinion. I feel LONDON has this "club banga techno meets boogie down jazz ass" feel, along with far superior lyrics compared to Cudi(Cudi simply cant spit to me). So far I have heard 5 tracks by this guy and am already deeming him my favorite "abstract artist". I have always had a problem with enjoying Cudi because of substantially below par lyrical element he brings to his music and thanks to LONDON I now have an excuses to push Cudi to the side. However I still believe his album was really nice and the song "Mr.Solo Dolo" is simply one of those exceptions to the rule, but overall I'm feeling LONDON way more.

I have been away from my blog for a while, not because I've been busy or occupied in other activities more important but simply because I haven't had much to say. I may have had some thoughts here and there but nothing I deemed worthy of your time, I feel that each topic I blog about should not only be because I like it but be something someone might wanna read and not something I read about on numerous blogs before. But like I said before this blog is not for YOU its MY thought and My opinions. Le Pin-hole

So! In my favorite class IMAGE's our class had a project in which everyone had to create a "Pin-hole" camera and for those who are unaware of what a "Pin-hole" camera is, go look it up lol (if your lazy than, it's basically a can with a very small hole and shutter covering that hole, that captures light onto a piece of light sensitive paper when the shutter is opened for a specific amount of time). So, we made these "Pin-hole" cameras and through a very rough learning process arrived this! I think I took twenty shots in every weather condition possible except snow and a tornado. Aw yea, we also had to proccess and print the photo's on our own which was a struggle all in it self. (I better get an A lol.)

Idk why I never heard of it before today (even though it came out on September 24, 2001) but I'm glad I did. I'm currently in the process of purchasing a Ps2 solely for the purpose of playing this game, God of War and Shadow of Colossus (Lol don't judge me). If you are not as adamant about playing this game as I am, then at least go and Google the shit and read the plot and reviews for the game.

Love at first Step....

I must say I love Adidas, I have just purchased my 7th pair in a few month period. Adidas have the comfort that Nike lacks, plus they look so kool lol. Also you can find a nice pair almost anywhere I have purchased each pair in a different location (Self Conscious, Adidas store, Marshals, Adidas outlet in Vegas, Nordstrom Rack, and LDRS1354). The moral of my story is put down your dunks for a quick sec. and try out some Adidas.

Yes I do still buy CD's (at least the CD's that are worth my 13.99 and that high ass Chicago sales tax lol). But in my opinion the Asher joint "Asleep in the Bread Aisle" is a much easier listen than "Blueprint 3". I'm defiantly not stating that "Asleep in the Bread Aisle" is a better album but, but I myself listen to it way more than I listen to BP3. I think HOV is an aquired taste much like that of a fine wine and caviar, you know you have to grow to love it and take the time to actually savor the taste. While Asher is the junk food, you know nice and simple not to complicated, real tangy or sweet straight to the point. Now depending on who you are you might choose sides, I'm not doing that, I'm simply saying their different but at the same time both fufilling my musical hunger....Yea thats what I'm saying lol

Mr. Solo Dolo

What can I say about Cudi, as an Mc he is, Weak? Yea weak, but as far as his overall music and the concept of his songs/video's he is in another world I must say. The creativity of his music is what keeps me interested, I must say I imagined his album as being a total fail, but idk now maybe his creativity can stand alone without the usual lyrical content im so drawn towards. So now I must take more tracks into further observation. But as far as Mr. Solo Dolo it gets a 9-10, but if this is the official video then I'll be forced to give a 10-10. I must declare this Video of the month.

What does Music do to you?

So the question is, do I love music? But first I must define music right? So let's just be brief and say music is an artistic expression in the form of sounds. OK, what is art? A creative expression of one's feelings and past events. OK, what is sound? We're just going to wing it and say waves transmitted through matter in the form of frequencies that slide in your ear, and vibrate, which transmits a message to the brain... so now the question is.... Why do vibrations make life so enjoyable?? IDK really... maybe because the moral of my story is that music makes love to your brain resulting in an "Eargasm?"! Don't you love it?
